What is Pilates?
Our philosophy is based on the teachings of Joseph Pilates and we trust in the body sculpting potential that Pilates inspires. The methods we use consists of a series of controlled movements performed on specially designed spring-resistant exercise apparatus. This system is focused on improving flexibility, strength and body awareness without bulking out.
Our sessions are supervised by our highly trained instructors in a controlled environment. Pilates is resistance exercise, not cardio. The two key elements of Pilates are core muscle strength and spinal alignment. During a session our instructors will emphasise concentrating on your core muscles and your breathing. The main objective is the coordination of mind, body and spirit.
Pilates is suitable for all fitness levels and we accommodate clients of all shapes and sizes. This includes those who are pregnant, clients who need rehabilitation as well as those wanting to energise their overall health. We want our clients to become fitter and stronger and are dedicated to you and your fitness goals.
